Eva Mendes Asks Husband Ryan Gosling to “Come Home” and “Put the Kids to Bed” After Oscars Performance

After Ryan Gosling blessed viewers’ screens with an electrifying performance of “I’m Just Ken” at the 2024 Oscars, his wife, Eva Mendes, had one request for him.

The actress took to Instagram on Sunday night, writing, “You took Ken all the way to the Oscar’s, RG. Now come home, we need to put the kids to bed.” She also shared a photo of her wearing Gosling’s iconic pink, bedazzled, custom Gucci blazer from his performance, along with a black cowboy hat.

“I’m Just Ken” was nominated for best original song at the Oscars this year, though the award ultimately went to “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish and Finneas. Gosling also received a nomination for best supporting actor for Ken in Barbie, but the Oscar went to Robert Downey Jr. for Oppenheimer.

Throughout the 2024 award season, Mendes has shown her support for Gosling. In January, she took to social media to address some of the criticism the actor initially received when he stepped into the role of Ken in Barbie.
